Money is rarely the hard part; the structure to hold it is. The off-the-shelf vehicle — closed-end fund, generic SPV, vanilla credit line — was built for asset classes that already had a market, a benchmark, and a settled allocator base. It does not reach into peatland credit, human-capital obligations, deep-tech balance sheets, dual-use industries, or sovereignty-driven mandates that have not yet found their template.
