We process only the personal data you give us, and only what a confidential professional engagement requires.

1. Who is responsible

The controller in the sense of the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP / nDSG) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is wait, what. (the “practice”), based in Zürich, Switzerland. Mandate execution is handled through wait, what. LLC (Wyoming, USA). Contact: hello@wait-what.co.

2. What we collect

We collect the data you actively provide: name, organisation, email address, and the content of messages you send us. When you book a call via cal.com or write to hello@wait-what.co, we receive what you submit there. We do not run advertising trackers or fingerprinting on this site. We measure visits anonymously with PostHog (see section 4).

3. Hosting & logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process server logs (IP address, user agent, request URL, timestamp) for the purposes of security, abuse prevention and aggregate operational metrics. These logs are retained briefly and are not used to build profiles. See Cloudflare’s data-processing terms for details.

4. Tools we use

cal.com: calendar booking. Stores your name, email and meeting metadata.
Email (Google Workspace): correspondence sent to hello@wait-what.co is processed in our mailbox.
PostHog (EU cloud, Frankfurt): anonymous visit statistics, namely pages viewed, clicks on page elements, browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address. No cookies and no local storage are used, so visits are not linked to one another. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, no measurement takes place.

5. Cookies

No cookies. The site uses localStorage only to remember your light or dark choice. Nothing is sent to any server.

6. Your rights

Under FADP and GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask for correction or deletion, to object to processing, and to data portability. Write to hello@wait-what.co and we will respond.

7. International transfers

Some of our processors (Cloudflare, cal.com, Google) are based in the US; PostHog processes data in the EU. Where personal data leaves Switzerland or the EEA, transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, supplemented as required.

8. Changes

If we change this notice we will update the “Last updated” date at the top.
